Game-Time Guac (Makes about 2 cups, 16 servings)

2 ripe avocados 1 small tomato, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1 fresh jalapeño chili, seeded and minced
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Halve and pit the avocados and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocados coarse with a fork; stir in remaining ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Guacamole may be made 2 hours in advance, covered with plastic wrap, and chilled.

Game On! Tonight in Everett, WA.

Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR) launching Game On!, in Everett, WA with the Everett Vs. Cascade High School Football game tonight. Game On! is an original video productions featuring some of the country’s premier high school football games.  The Washington series kicks off September 9th with the Everett vs. Cascade game and continues with the Arlington vs. Stanwood game on October 8th and Marysville-Pilchuck vs. Lake Stevens on October 14th.

Frontier Donates and Saves Lives!

Frontier saved up 180 lives this week by donating 30 pints of blood to the American Red Cross.  Over 33 employees and customers came out to the blood mobile in hopes of making a difference. Winners Announced for Get Your League In Gear

The winners of the Get Your League In Gear program sponsored by Frontier, 710AM ESPN Seattle, 97. 3 KIRO-FM and Kimmel Athletic Supply Company are in! Six area baseball and softball leagues are the winners of $1,000 each of gear from Kimmel Athletic Supply Company.

“There is nothing that represents community more than youth baseball and softball programs for thousands upon thousands of kids in Washington State.  At Frontier, our employees live, work and play in these communities so what better way for us to give back than the “Get Your League in Gear” program” said Tom Merz, Washington Marketing Manager. “For many leagues the largest expense is equipment and can be the hardest to fund. That is why we’re so excited about donating this money to our local leagues for needed equipment and uniforms.”
